Harold's introduction to electronics began over forty years ago when he made a crystal radio that used a cats whisker.  Since that time, he has evolved into an electronics and computer guru, working on and building from scratch any number of electronic items.  In 1979, he made his first home computer a Heathkit H-89 that used the CP/M operating system that was the precursor to DOS.  Since that time, Harold has moved on to working with Intel-based computers, migrating from the 8080 based computers to the 286, 386, 486 and finally pentium based computers.  Harold presently works for an electronic manufacturer as a Manufacturing Engineer, and in his free time is the webmaster and resident computer expert for California Karaoke.  When Harold is not doing engineering/computer work, he enjoys surfing the web, listening to music, wrestling alligators, and stock-car racing while blindfolded.  Harold's favorite TV shows are "The Screen Savers" and "Call For Help" on Tech TV.  For general computer questions, Harold recommends a visit to www.techtv.com.
