Arroyo Grande
October 11, 1999
On October 11, 1999 a film production crew from
Legacy Films came to Bill's Place in Arroyo
Grande, California to film a segment of the upcoming feature film "Have
You Seen Clem". The film, a "Docu-comedy" about the lives of homeless
people, was released in October 2000.
The scene being filmed was a dream sequence and various customers
were filmed as extras and dancers. Bill, the bartender, and Doc were filmed as
bit players with brief speaking parts. Another local, Tony Lozto, was filmed
as an Elvis impersonator and also had a major speaking part.
